Welcome to our beautyfull Faralya and Kabak Koyu in the surrounding of Oludeniz and fethiye Turkey. The last unspoiled 30 km of nature in Turkey with small villages, surrounded by woods, mountains and valleys with allways the sea around you, It still looks like as 40 years ago. You will find there very nice small hotels as Faralya Art House for small money.

You will see the routes on your left hand side as you approach the village. You can also take a boat from Ölüdeniz to Kelebekler Vadisi (Butterfly Valley). From the valley follow the signs that take you up to Faralya village along a narrow steep path (300 meters). Walk along the main road towards Ölüdeniz. After 700meters you will see the routes on your right hand side. There is a fountain for drinking water at the entrance of the village. Camping is allowed in the area and there are pensions in Faralya village. You can also stay in butterfly valley. According to the Sunday Times the Lycian Way is one of the ten most beautiful long distance hikes of the world. There are plenty of camping places with nearby water mentioned in the book; Lycian Way is graded medium to hard; it is not level walking, but has many ascents and descents as it approaches and veers away from the sea. It is easier at the start near Fethiye and gets more difficult as it progresses. We recommend walking the route in spring or autumn; February-May or September-November; summer in Lycia is hot, although you could walk short, shady sections.
